ELAINE GIMMEL, MSSA
Executive Director

Elaine became EDEN's third-ever Executive Director in 2018. She has been employed at EDEN for 28 years. Elaine directly oversees the Legal and Compliance, Human Resources and Fund Development and Communications Departments as well as supervises the COO and CFO positions. Elaine holds a master's degree in Social Service Administration from CWRU's Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, with a concentration in Community Development, and a bachelor's degree from John Carroll University. She is also a Licensed Social Worker, and has worked in the area of Social Services for over 31 years. In selecting Elaine for the position of Executive Director, EDEN's Board recognized that Elaine brings great knowledge and skill to the position, as well as tremendous empathy for EDEN's clients, and an unwavering commitment to the organization's mission. Elaine is also highly adept at cohesive collaboration, and is an active leader in numerous community partnerships.
