EDEN's mission is simple and urgent: provide housing solutions to people facing homelessness or housing insecurity. EDEN is partnering with Everybody Cycle for their Charity of the Month benefit ride to raise critical funds for EDEN, helping our neighbors experiencing homelessness and housing insecurities to secure safe, stable housing. By supporting their ride, you're combating homelessness in in our community!

 

Why Your Support Matters!

Your monetary gift, no matter the size, will make a difference in the lives of those who are low- income, mentally ill, and/or disabled in Cuyahoga County who are in need of housing support..

Your gift will have more impact if you donate a set amount each month via credit card …

• Five people who donate $10 a month = $600. This would buy a refrigerator and stove for a previously unhoused family who moves into a new apartment without appliances.
• Five people who donate $25 a month = $1,500. This would pay an extra security deposit and first month's rent for a family who has poor rental histories because of circumstances beyond their control, such as illness or job insecurity.
• Five people who donate $50 a month = $3,000. This would pay the back rent and past due utilities of a family who has lost their job or had their work hours cut.

If you want to pay an amount all at once, no problem! We will use the money you send to us to do good in our community!

EDEN’s mission is to provide housing solutions to people facing the challenges of housing insecurities and homelessness.

EDEN recognizes that housing is a basic right of all people and is the first step in helping them transform their lives. We believe housing serves as a foundation to build stable lives, advance independence, and fulfill aspirations. We envision that, through our efforts, homelessness will be brief and rare; and every family will have a safe, secure place to call home.

All of our participants are economically disadvantaged, with 89.3% meeting Federal guidelines for extremely low income. We serve young adults aging out of the foster care system and seniors who have fallen into homeless due to health issues and/or having little to no income. Other participants include veterans and survivors of domestic violence or human trafficking. The majority have mental health and/or physical disabilities.

By supporting EDEN’s programs, you help those experiencing housing insecurities and homelessness in Northeast Ohio lay the foundation for stability by helping them to secure and remain in safe and stable housing.
