FHLB Cincinnati Allocates $3,000,000 for Broadway Commons & Emerald Senior

EDEN is proud to announce that the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati has awarded $3 million to two of EDEN's sponsored applications for its Supportive Housing developments. Emerald Senior will be a 62 unit building for seniors experiencing chronic homelessness and senior veterans experiencing homelessness in Cleveland, and Broadway Commons will be a 62 unit building for individuals experiencing chronic homelessness in the city of Lorain.

FHLB Cincinnati allocates at least 10% of its net income, annually, to make housing more affordable for persons at or below 80 percent of the area median income. Funding is awarded to through a competitive process.

We are tremendously grateful to the FHLB Cincinnati, as this funding will help us address the critical gap in affordable housing in our region and enable us to serve these highly vulnerable populations by providing them with stability and a place to call home.
